AN INDEPENDENT INTERVIEW & RESEARCH PROJECT
The Edge
of Strength
Have you ever asked yourself…
Is this what I want to be good at?
Exploring the Paradoxes of Strength.
Who we become as we lead, build, create, protect, and endure, and the questions that arise when we begin to examine those identities.
WHY I STARTED THIS PROJECT
The project began with a question I could not answer about my own life.
For more than a decade, my work and life repeatedly placed me in environments where capability, resilience, leadership, and self-reliance mattered.
Off the coast of Panama, after a series of events pushed my own capacity for fear, responsibility, and endurance to an extreme, I found myself asking a question I had never considered before: Is this really what I want to be good at?
It was not simply a question about what makes people strong, but what becoming strong creates in us over time.
Rather than assume my experience was universal, I am looking to speak with 100 women
THE QUESTION
“Who do we become as we lead, build, create, protect, and endure?”
And what can we learn when we begin examining the identities that helped us get here?
THE PROJECT
An ongoing inquiry into identity, strength, leadership, and adaptation.
The Edge of Strength is an independent interview and research project built around long-form conversations with women whose lives have asked something extraordinary of them.
Across these conversations, I am listening for patterns, contradictions, and questions about the identities we construct through leadership, responsibility, ambition, adversity, creation, and change.
What an interview looks like.
PARTICIPATION
A private, long-form conversation conducted over Zoom: 60 -90 minutes
Questions about identity, leadership, adaptation, responsibility, and change.
Recorded and transcribed for research and analysis.
Participation is voluntary. There is no fee to participate.
THIS IS NOT A SALES OFFER.The Edge of Strength is not a coaching program, paid feature, or solicitation. Participants are invited to contribute to an independent ongoing inquiry.THE PROJECT IS UNDERWAY
I am currently speaking with women across disciplines, industries, and experiences.
